I handle stamp collections of all types - large or small, mint or used, US and Foreign.

About Me

I was first introduced to stamp collecting when I was a 7 year old kid living in Michigan. My Grandfather was a Coin Dealer and used to go to Coin Shows with him to help watch the tables. At these Coin Shows there were also usually Stamp Dealers. My father had given me his old Stamp Album from when he was a kid and I began filling it up.

When I was 9 years old Grandfather began giving me a nook on this table and I began selling my extra stamps leftover from collections I obtained. Other than my brief forray into sport cards and auotgraphs during my teens, I have been collecting and selling stamps. I have been selling stamps on Ebay since 1998.

I currently live in Issaquah, Washington but I purchase stamp collections from anywhere in the world. I have a very wide general knowledge of all things philatelic, but my areas of specialty are US stamps before 1920 and Worldwide stamps before 1950.

What I buy and not buy

If possible I will come to see the collection in person, but this is only possible if you live in the Seattle area. Otherwise I will require you to send me multiple pictures of the items for sale. Please go to the "Contact Us" page to send me these pictures. (NOTE: while this page is undercontruction please email me at kiekko2001@yahoo.com) I usually respond to you within 24 hours. If I am interested in the items I may ask for more information or pictures.

If a sale is agreed I will pay with cash if it is in person. If we cannot meet in person for the exchange I will send payment as soon as the item is received. You pay for shipping the items to me and they must be sent with tracking. You can be paid via Paypal, Venmo, or a check through the mail - your choice.

What I buy

Stamp Albums - All sizes, sorts, and conditions. Price paid depends on the age of the album, condition of the album, and the quantity and quality of the stamps in the album. Even if the album is in very rough condition ( missing cover, torn/missing pages) I would still be interested if the there are a lot of stamps or good quality stamps.

Foreign Stamps - Used or Unused stamps. I prefer stamps off paper, but also do buy stamps on paper depending what they are.

Used US Stamps - I prefer stamps older than 1940.

Unused/Mint US Stamps - Mint US stamps post-1940 I pay between 40%-70% of face value. Sorry, but this is the going rate online and this is due to the huge amount of unused postage printed by USPS. The general rule is the higher the denomination, the higher the % paid. There are a few exceptions to this depending on the stamp. For stamps older than 1940 it depends on the stamp, condition, and rareity.

What I do not buy

Stamp albums with the stamps put in the album with tape or glue. Stamps need to be in a hingeless album or put in with stamp hinges. Only exception would be an old album form pre-1900 where the stamps are glued in, but even then the stamps would most likely be considered damaged.

US First Day Covers - Sorry, I know a lot of people collect these but due to their low value and weight in shipping it is just not something I deal with.
